Returns and Refunds
We will accept a return of the products for a refund of your purchase price within 30 days of delivery, and provided such products are returned in their original or like-new condition.
We are a small business and aim to take great care of our customers. The 30 day return policy is on the books to prevent abuse. If you have some extraneous circumstances, or just missed the return window, send us an email and let us know what happened. We will usually side with you and do our best to help (unless you're being rude and demanding). Asking nicely goes a long way.

HOLIDAY SEASON RETURN POLICY
For any order placed on November 1st through December 25th, you may return or exchange your Brake Free order through January 31st.
How to request a refund?
To return products and request a refund, you must make a request by sending an email to support@brakefreetech.com. To get a refund please include your order number, found in your order confirmation email. We can help you with finding your order # as well.
Who pays for shipping?
We aim to make this fair for everyone.
We will provide a pre-paid shipping label if there's something wrong with our product (DOA), or if we screwed up something (i.e. shipped the wrong product)
You, the customer, pay for shipping the return if you changed your mind and want to return the product. This includes changing your mind on the color.
Return shipping recommendations
When shipping a return back to us, you bear the risk of loss during shipment. To limit these risks, we recommend that you insure your return shipment against loss or damage. We also recommend using a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection.

When will I get my refund?
Refunds are processed within approximately 3-5 business days of us receiving your return. Your refund will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase on our website (www.brakefreetech.com).
You will get an automatic notification from us confirming the refund has been processed. But please take into account that some banks take a few days to process the refund on their end.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
We do our absolute best to process refunds in a timely fashion (3-5 business days). Once we process your refund, you will get an automatic notification from our website that your refund has been processed.
So step one is, check your email for notifications from us (it would come from support@brakefreetech.com). Check your 'Promotions', 'Updates', and SPAM folders just in case.
If you received a notification from us about your refund, but haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Pre-orders (if applicable)
Preorder means you are paying to purchase a product that is not currently in stock and a preorder option is available. You are agreeing to pre-pay for the product that will be delivered to you at a later date. The payment for the product will be processed like a regular transaction.
Estimated delivery date of pre-order items
The delivery date is an estimated date of delivery. We will do everything in our control to deliver the product on or before the specified date. We may change the delivery date. We will communicate any changes to the delivery date via email in a timely fashion.
Cancelling your pre-order
You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund (less transaction fees from Stripe Inc.) for any reason within 21 calendar days of receiving your pre-order confirmation email. Standard return policy after receiving your pre-order applies. Products must be returned in their original condition. Please read for returns and refunds policy.
