    Perfect Solution for Helmet Mounting

    Great for mounting your Brake Free

    to helmets with the spoiler shaped ridge on the back.

    Before this I had super glued two regular mounts on top of each other.

    Now I have them on all my helmets!

    The algorithm works brilliantly with the gyroscope and every throttle blip down or gear click down immediately lights up!

    Great product

    High visibility and have noticed when driving in Boston drivers stay back further and respect the engine breaking aspects of a bike.

    Brilliant product - five stars - well done - this is a must have.

    Work great but might not be needed

    I use XL size helmets and so I purchased the XL helmet mounts. I have two helmets, one is a Bell Bullitt and the other is a Biltwell Bonanza. Both are retro style helmets. Neither really needed the XL mounts. The Bell fits fine and I will probably leave it with the XL mount for now. But the Biltwell makes the Brake Free unit stand out quite a ways from the helmet and I will definitely be changing it to a normal mount. Hope this info is helpful.

    Great feedback, thanks! Universal mount is probably all you need for both of those helmets. Universal mount on the Biltwell will definitely help with bringing the unit closer to the helmet and eliminating the gap.

    Great experience

    I met a rider on a ride last summer with the Brake Free light and I immediately wanted one. After I expressed regrets to Brake Free that shipping from the States traditionally adds too many extra costs to Canadian purchasers, I thought that was the end of it. Imagine my surprise when I was notified a short time later that Brake Free had developed a Canadian distribution solution and now offered the product to Canadian riders. As I hesitated while considering the purchase, I was offered a nice $10 (USD) off code which pushed me over the edge. I ordered the light and corresponded with Scott at Brake Free where we discussed the use of the XL mounts. Helmet and mounts arrived but I learned that my new HJC XXL RPHA helmet was not excessively wide so the XL mounts were not required. "No Problem" says Scott who immediately got me set up with regular sized mounts. The light installs and performs up to my picky, high standards. I know it will be the talk of my rides all this year.

    If you had any hesitations about getting the Brake Free light, put them to rest.

    Great Product, great service, fast Canadian distribution and the $10 USD coupon is like getting a beer from a friend. Thanks to the Brake Free team for an exceptional product and exceptional service!
