Pre-Order Brake Free in Time for the Holidays

We are all living in unprecedented times and normalcy is no-where in sight.

Due to high demand and world-wide supply chain issues, Brake Free (like many other businesses) is temporarily out of stock. In a way, this is a great problem to have, as we are grateful so many riders are investing in their safety and visibility.

On the other hand, we are working frantically to make sure we have more inventory in time for the holidays. We want to make sure we can help protect more riders as the days grow shorter and visibility is ever more important.

Why are we out of stock?

Many of us have been stuck at home for what feels like an eternity. Instead of spending our money on going out to events, restaurants, travel and the like, we’ve been buying things online to keep us safe and sane in our homes. This spike in online shopping, coupled with ocean freight and trucking industries left in disarray due to ripple effects of labor shortages, component shortages, port closures, and huge demand. This is affecting big companies and small businesses like ours all over the world.

Here’s a good article that sums up the global supply chain issues

What are we doing about it?

We are opening up pre-orders to help you lock down your place in line and help you get your Brake Free as soon as possible and at the best price.

Our offer

We are offering a 10% discount on your entire pre-order along with free shipping on all Brake Free orders to sweeten the pot.

We will be shipping out orders as inventory arrives at our fulfilment center. We have multiple shipments on the way. More on that in the following section.

When will we have more inventory?

We are transferring a small number of units from our Canadian fulfilment center to the United States to help serve our US customers. This shipment is expected to arrive in early November.

We also have an ocean shipment on its way to the United States now. We don’t want to give an exact date of arrival, as the situation in the ports is constantly evolving. Our best guess is it will arrive in our fulfilment center in early December.

We also have our next production run well underway in our factory. We anticipate it will be completed in mid-December. We will ship some of it by air directly to our US and Canada fulfilment centers to make sure we have inventory as soon as possible. The rest of the order will be shipped by ocean to help manage costs.

Bottom line

We are doing everything we can to make Brake Free available in time for the Holidays. We will send out email updates to our pre-order customers as shipments get closer to arriving. Delays are possible and we will keep you in the loop as much as we can.

Stay safe,

Alex Arkhangelskiy (CEO/co-founder)
